Wolfpack 13u Beat Gamers

Wolfpack 13u beat Gamers 7-5 on Thursday.

A triple by Lucas H put Wolfpack 13u on the board in the top of the second.

Gamers took the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second thanks to two walks.

Grayson S hit into a fielder's choice, which helped Wolfpack 13u tie the game at two in the top of the third.

Gamers captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the third after #1 grounded out, and #7 doubled, each scoring one run.

Wolfpack 13u captured the lead, 6-4, in the top of the fourth when Eddie P grounded out, scoring one run, Lincoln M singled, scoring one run, and Nick J tripled, scoring two runs.

Jax M led things off on the bump for Wolfpack 13u. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one. #1 started the game for Gamers. The starter gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Easton P, Nick J, Eddie P, and Lucas H each appeared in relief for Wolfpack 13u.

Nick J led Wolfpack 13u with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Lucas H led Wolfpack 13u with two hits in two at bats. Isaac M led Wolfpack 13u with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game.

#22, #28, #27, and #7 each collected one hit for Gamers. #1, #4, and #7 each drove in one run for Gamers. #4 paced Gamers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game.
