Wolfpack 12U Fall After Strong Showing By Dust Devils

Wolfpack 12U couldn't keep up with Dust Devils and fell 12-4 on Sunday.

Dust Devils got on the board in the top of the first inning after #20 doubled, and #22 grounded out, each scoring one run.

Theo R singled, which helped Wolfpack 12U tie the game at two in the bottom of the first.

Wolfpack 12U took the lead in the bottom of the second. Xander J hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, to give Wolfpack 12U the edge, 3-2.

Wolfpack 12U added one run in the third after Leo O hit a sacrifice fly.

Dust Devils jumped into the lead in the top of the fourth when #22 singled, scoring one run, #50 singled, scoring one run, and #35 tripled, scoring two runs.

Elias D pitched four innings in relief for Wolfpack 12U. The left-handed pitcher gave up eight hits and eight runs (seven earned) while, striking out two and walking one. Mikey N opened the game for Wolfpack 12U. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out none and walking three.

Leadoff hitter Mikey N led Wolfpack 12U with two hits in two at bats. Theo R led Wolfpack 12U with two runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Elias D stole two bases.

Dust Devils amassed 10 hits in the game. Oliver B and #20 were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Dust Devils. #22 and #35 each drove in two runs for Dust Devils. Oliver B and #20 each stole multiple bases for Dust Devils. Dust Devils didn't commit a single error in the field. Oliver B had the most chances in the field with two.
